About

Hello!

I'm Jenna Stirling, MSW, LISCW. Reaching out for support is a meaningful act of self-care, and I’m honored to be part of that process with you. Therapy sessions with me are a mix of reflection, curiosity, and genuine connection. I bring warmth and compassion to help you process what’s been holding you back, and move toward a deeper sense of clarity, confidence, and joy. You can expect a space that’s calm and free of judgement - somewhere you can be honest, laugh when it fits, and explore the path towards reconnecting to your most authentic self.

Our intake session will primarily be focused on getting to know each other and review what’s brought you to therapy, and we will also spend time covering expectations, policies, and goals for therapy. After our intake session, the deeper work begins and we start to work towards your goals at a pace that feels appropriate to you. Therapy sessions are 50-55 minutes unless we’ve agreed to other arrangements, and will always be a collaborative effort between the two of us to meet your needs. Typically, I meet with clients on a weekly or biweekly basis, although this greatly depends on your needs and goals for therapy.

My style is conversational and dynamic, rather than blank slate. The approach we use in our sessions will largely depend on your goals, however I often use the following modalities where appropriate:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Mindfulness-based practices

Finding the right therapist is such an important part of the process. You’ll know I’m a good fit if you’re looking for a space that feels safe, collaborative, and genuine; where you can be yourself and feel both supported and gently challenged. My clients tend to appreciate my warm, grounded approach that blends depth work (like EMDR) with humor, compassion, and practical tools for change.

One of the best ways to determine if we’re a good fit is to schedule a short consultation, and attend a session with me to simply see how it feels. You deserve a therapist who truly fits, and if that isn’t me, I can help provide referrals to someone who may be a better fit.
