Relationship Services

Relationships can bring deep connection and meaning, but they can also be a source of stress, confusion, or pain. You may find yourself repeating the same patterns, struggling to communicate your needs, or feeling anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself in relationships. Therapy offers a space to explore these dynamics with curiosity and compassion, and helps you build a better understand yourself as well as healthier, more fulfilling connections. Therapy focused on relationship issues can be focused on couples work, but it can also extend to family therapy or working through conflict within friendships.

You may benefit from therapy if you:

  • Feel stuck in unhealthy or repetitive relationship patterns
  • Struggle with communication, boundaries, or conflict
  • Feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself in relationships
  • Find yourself people-pleasing or putting others’ needs first
  • Want to build healthier, more fulfilling connections
  • Are working through relationship transitions or healing from past hurt

In relationship focused therapy, we’ll look at how past experiences, attachment patterns, and core beliefs influence how you show up with others. I use a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to help you strengthen communication, set boundaries with confidence, and respond rather than react in relationships. The goal is to help you feel more secure, authentic, and connected with others and with yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

I help clients build awareness, strengthen communication, and develop boundaries that feel both healthy and authentic. The work is about creating relationships that feel safer, more balanced, and more aligned with who you are.

When working with individuals who are addressing relationship issues in therapy, I use cognitive based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT) to help identify emotions, set boundaries, and strengthen communication skills. Our work will also explore how attachment styles, past relationships, and core beliefs affect how you show up within your relationships.

I primarily work with individuals, however I have limited availability for couples and family sessions.

When working with couples and families, I focus on the health and strength of the relationship rather than taking sides or placing blame. My approach is to develop more effective communication and greater understanding within relationships.

When first starting therapy with couples or families, my strong preference is to meet in person. Once we have a familiarity with each other and the structure of our sessions, I’m open to transitioning to telehealth sessions if preferred.
